43. 44. 45 -part of the Valley Sweep collection by Patricia Brennan $100.00 per
picture.
In part inspired by the ancient Chinese Oracle, the I Ching, a
5,000 year old Book of Changes, based on the principle of meaningful
coincidences or the synchronicity of the universe. This work, Valleysweep,
introduced the figure again, bit it was a moving figure in a moving
landscape. The photo images printed on white porcelain were developed at
Open Studio. The work explored photosilkscreen printed directly onto
clay,.. resembling a 'monumental silicon chip' A third system emerged from
the process - the 64 Valleysweep photocollages, which is a continuum.
Finally, the Valleysweep figures come alive as tiny sculptures on a miniature
stage. A single clay slab (raku fired) was set apart and presented as
'Moving Ground".

Earth" can be viewed on her website www.patbrennanstudio.ca
